Feather History

Welcome to the Feather History web site.

This site is primarily to further genealogical research in the Feather surname and its derivatives, with a strong emphasis around the West Riding of Yorkshire, particularly areas such as Keighley, Oakworth, Haworth and Oxenhope.

Should you have any data which may be of value to the site, please forward it to me so that we may all benefit from its continuous improvement.

Feel free to use the information in pursuit of your private research.

Wesley Place

The web site also acts as a historical contact for members of a local primary school in the centre of the Feather region.

Ex students of Wesley Place Primary School should visit the site and see if they recognise any familiar faces in the school photographs.

I would love to hear from anyone featured in them and expand on the current contact point for them. Click on "Wesley Place" above.

Research Request

Following many months of development Feather History is pleased to support a new independant Search Facility  for your ancestors who may be buried within the Keighley area since 1568.
